DT Monday - Door plate and Inspiration Challenges!

At Stamp With Fun, the challenges this week is to make a DOOR PLATE!!

Had a good weekend? I did, but I seem to have less time to sit down and make cards! Hope it will change soon! Anyway, at SWF and TMITA we have two fun challenges for you.

For my door plate I used an acrylic heart and a Magnolia stamp and together with the paper lace I glued all on to a paper from October Afternoon. On top of the acrylic I glued the text, flowers and added a butterfly made with a Martha Stewart punch. I sprayed the top flowers with Glimmer mist! Now CLICK here to join this fun challenge!

And now to.......

TMITA/PCC Challenge - Summer Be Inspired!

by this photo....

Kim, who lives in Hawaii, brings us this fun challenge. I love pictures for inspirations because you get to do what you feel. So this is my card....

For the challenge you have to use a picture from PaperCupcake like this beautiful image ! For my card I used different die cuts, from bottom to top: Tim Holtz, Easycut Craft, Spellbinders, all cut with my Bigshot. Now CLICK here and it will take you to TMITA/PCC!

Have fun!

Treasure chest!

Now I have to show you one of the things I made at the Irene Tan class last weekend. This gorgeous Treasure travel chest with an acrylic mini album inside, wow, this was so much fun to make! This tiny chest is only measuring 3.5"/2.5" but we managed to fit in sooo many details.

We used a lot of inking, stamping, cutting, masking, embossing techniques. Our teacher and designer Irene is a master piece of art herself, her creativeness is amazing. We used papers from Graphic 45 and pictures from Darkroom Door.

This is the little acrylic mini book that is kept inside. If you do not know Irene, please visit her fabulous blog, Scrapperlicious, and you are in for a treat!

DT Monday - Mimosa meets Mr Penguin!

Lalalala.. Monday!! DT day!! At STAMP WITH FUN, the challenge is to make an Advent calender or a Christmas decoration. The winner (randomly) takes home a beautiful price from Tina a Hanglar stamp! I decorated a box and inside the box I put 12 tags (double sided) with the numbers 1-24. I filled the tags with a wisdom card, so instead of chocolate my friend will receive 24 wisdoms, I wonder if she will be happy, lol??

At There's Magic In The Air, you get this beautiful and fun image Free, Penguin Skating. The challenge this week is to "Use a reflective material (e.g., metallic paper, foil, mirrors, etc) on the project". Nina's price is beautiful brads and ribbons! As you can see I used a piece of foil decorated with a stamp and glitter glue around it. I also made, for the first time, an easel card. I followed Erika's instructions, you find it HERE!.

Ribbons: from stash

Recipe TMITA:

Leave me alone!

A sign for my teenagers door. Made on acrylic with alcohol ink, when dried I stamped a Tim Holtz spider web on the same side, wiped it off and voila you get like a white print design. More Tim Holtz stamps with black ink on the other side and then finished with rub ons. Cool?
