Look how great Anna's ATCs turned out. Michelle taught how to use glossy paper and distress ink. We transferred copied picture with the help of packing tape to clip art. And of course we used my favourite stamp of them all, Tim Holtz!
By the way check out scrap-n-crop's silent auction. Wonderful stamps!
Yet another wonderful day at Scrappingville. This time Michell came and taught us different techniques, among other stuff; transfer images. I will soon post the results.
For these ATCs I used transparancy sheets from Collections Elements. On one side I dabbed alcohol ink in two different colors brown, blue and green. I used clipart from my latest collection of "Memories of a liftime" books. My best friend for the moments. Sorry Anna!
A sign for my teenagers door. Made on acrylic with alcohol ink, when dried I stamped a Tim Holtz spider web on the same side, wiped it off and voila you get like a white print design. More Tim Holtz stamps with black ink on the other side and then finished with rub ons. Cool?
I made a collage of ATCs from what we learned from Sharon the other day. A lot of UTEE, I also included Mesh together with UTEE as a background. I have finally received the wonderful books; Memories of a lifetime, with a lot of pictures for scrapbooking.
I know, I should be working (and believe me I am) but it's nice to also do something else, like Scrapping!! Today we had another class with Sharon at Scrappingville, more ATC with different UTEE techniques. Thanks Sharon for a lovely day, always good fun! Some of my ATC for today!
Choo at Scrapbook memories in One Utama gave me this Wine holder from Creative imaginations, it was not an easy form to work with, but I painted it red and just decorated it with parts from a Basic Grey paper. With the help of some gold embossing powder and glitter it turned out quite Christmasy. I sewed on two bells to the ribbons and inside I put a red paper behind the bottle and stamped Merry Christmas, in gold, of course.
This is my Christmas Book that I made at the last Live it Scrap it! crop session. We used papers from Making Memories - Falala. I did a book about Christmas preparations, writing cards, shopping, decorations etc.
Soon Christmas! We had our crop session the other day, where we started to make an album about our Christmas traditions. I will blog them later when finished. In the mean time I thought I put my wish list to Santa, maybe he reads my blog:-)
Already? well I guess one has to start early if one wants to finish ones projects in time for Christmas, or? This year I have decided to skip making cards (maybe only a few) and instead buying them from "my" refugees. They are making wonderful cards! However to incorporate my work I might send along an ATC - Christmas (I think this was Anna's brilliant idea).
Our group will meet on Monday and make a Christmas mini album. I found lovely paper and embelishments from Fallalla.
Today Anna and I met up with a French lady at Scrappingville for a basic ATC technique course. We made 6 different ATCs, using the credit card technique, UTEE and different embellishments. As alway, time just flew away and we had a smashing time.
Sharon is helping us to dry our cards, Anna enjoying herself as usual and some cards I made:

A layout with a lot of lovely flowers, embellished with glitter, ink and brads. The tone is copper!
I made a small canvas for a charity evening (for Myanmar refugees). I sprayed the canvas with Airondack's Color wash (Lettuce). With the help of Modge Podge I attached a stamped white tissue in the middle. Some small birds with fingerpaint (metallic) and gold embossed, flowers, gold embellishments, words with glace on top (Love birds), finished this little project.
We had the pleasure of having the first crop party hosted by Valerie Gan in her new Scrap Abode (Scrap-n-Crop). Val has one of Asias biggest online store, so of course we were like kids in a candy store, because the shop were all around us!! Our theme was My Mantra, mine is "Its OK to be different!", Anna did Carpe Diem and Cat did Compassion. We had a great time, we just missed you, Amanda.
Live it Scrap it is a scrapbooking club in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. We meet every month at various places and crop together. We always have a theme and use the same kit, so we can learn from each other.
Themes have been, My Mantra, Me 2008, Scrap organizer etc. Next one will be Christmas and I would like to get the girls going on ATC cards. Just love them!
I am a Swedish crafty person now living in India with my husband. This blog is mainly paper craft but I have now started more and more handicraft like knitting, crochet, sewing etc.
