Hi, I see you keep coming back to my blog and no new postings are finding you! Sorry about that. Just wanted you to know what is going on here! Actually I went over to my desk yesterday and made two cards, see below. It was fun so I think I will do some more! However I am moving from Malaysia beginning next year to India and will of course be occupied with all the moving stuff. I have already sold out half of my tools, papers, inks, punches etc and gave the money to charity here in Kuala Lumpur. The sale went very well, but you should have been there, the prices I put was a real bargain, LOL! But I accomplished my goal - to get rid of it. Now, I will bring enough stuff to be able to continue my card making and maybe some scrapbooking! But for the moment I will not have the time to either post nor visit your blogs! LOL, I am sure you doing well without me! I hope I see you next year!

I have decided to take another break from my DT (SWF) assignment! I keep looking at my working desk, but I do not go over there! I guess I am a bit tired of making cards or do scrap booking. Hello, are you busy? Christmas is around the corner, only two weeks to go! Today for "my" two challengers we are making Christmas cards! Lets roll....

This week's challenge at Stamp With Fun no 89 is Christmas! My Christmas is definitely all about the decorated Tree. In Malaysia we can buy the real thing imported from Scandinavia for a price cheaper than in Sweden!! Thanks to IKEA. The above tree comes from Mo Digital Pencil and is colored with copics. The papers are from Norway! The ticket is a digi image from PCC.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Then I want to apologies to my blog friend Curt (please visit his wonderful blog) who happens to be an excellent card maker and also a man. In my last post I said "..so many ladies with so much talent..." Yes, but there are also many men who are very talented, so sorry!!

I decided in July I was going to make a recipe book with Nina May, at Paper Cupcakes, digi images. But it was not until today I got started. I am impressed by Christine at Dolcreations, she makes the most beautiful recipe cards. She is posting the cards one by one, so I thought that's a good idea, because I will not be able to make all in one go. LOL! Not enough time. So today I will show you only the cover! It is a Maya 4x8 book which I covered with fabric in blue and green. On the inside the pages are covered with DCWV papers. So now on to color the images and find some good recipes!

Very strange titel, LOL! I never know if to say fall or autumn, I know both are the same but I am caught in the middle, not being English/American! Very well, I bought some new spellbinders and a Martha Stewart combo punch, had to use them, love these shapes!

It's such a funny name in English "Hanglar", in Swedish it's suppose to be Hänglar (änglar means angels). But Hanglar, I don't know, LOL!! For my first Christmas card of the year I have used a Magnolia stamp, colored with Distress ink, for the snow and glitter I have used a mix of different Ranges stickles. Papers are from DaisyDs. The gorgeous snow flakes are from KI Memories.

Stamp With Fun Challenge no 75 - Wedding!

I was lucky that this challenge came now since I have just been to a wedding and had to make a card. Unfortunately I was in a rush when I took the picture. To much sun on it and I managed to hide the small heart charm. I have always loved Kim Pigott glittery edges so I borrowed her idea. The bride and groom are from Hanglar stamps. Colored with Copics and papers are a mix from DCWV and Ladybug and friends. For the inside I put an acrylic heart! Good luck with the challenge!

I did not believe my eyes when I had my afternoon coffee today, a package came with this box filled with card making supplies, a wonderful card and chocolate, talk about good timing, LOL! It was my "boss" Nina May, the wonderful designer and owner of Paper Cupcakes who sent me this as a birthday gift and a thank you for being on her team for so long! Wow, I am overwhelmed and so grateful! Look at this gorgeous gift, of course all the images are from PCC.

On Monday I had been married to my hubby for 24 years, he is a wonderful man and my best friend! We are so much a like, so if he forgets I do the same, like on Monday. Nobody remembered what day it was, until a friend told me, oops! I surprised hubby in the evening with a small bottle of Champagne, and the card above, he still didn't get it!! Not even with the text I wrote, oh dear, we are getting old, LOL! But he did surprise me with a party earlier this summer, I am turning 50 on Saturday, so he is forgiven!!

Now I will confess, I struggled, this is my second card because this combination was hard for me, maybe because I did not have many papers in purple but then I found this Darkroom Door paper with a tulip on it. Had a good weekend? I did, but I seem to have less time to sit down and make cards! Hope it will change soon! Anyway, at SWF and TMITA we have two fun challenges for you.

For my door plate I used an acrylic heart and a Magnolia stamp and together with the paper lace I glued all on to a paper from October Afternoon. On top of the acrylic I glued the text, flowers and added a butterfly made with a Martha Stewart punch. I sprayed the top flowers with Glimmer mist! Now CLICK here to join this fun challenge!

We are having a lot of trouble with our internet connection for the moment, which means I haven´t been able to visit you or upload anything! Sorry about that! However, today when writing this post, we are back on line, cross my fingers it will last! My card is made with my new Beatrix Potter stamps, takes some practising but what a treat to be able to color Peter Rabbit and his friends! Papers are from Basic Grey and I used my Copics!

Spring cleaning?

Do people do that nowadays? Well, this lovely lady from Mo´s Digital Pencil does and at the same time sending you all a Easter greetings! We are soon having spring break at my son´s school and we will take a little trip and when we are back we will have guest for 3 weeks. This means you will not see so much of me, I will try to sneak away and check out your blogs. However you will still find my DT Monday still taking place!

OK, on to today´s card, it´s for Truly Scrumptious challenge no 28 and a sketch. I used a DP from Sassafrass, paper piecing technique for the skirt and blouse! The flower is in fabric and I will soon post a tutorial how to make it at Nilla´s Craftroom, but first I will show you another technique on Monday 22 March! Have a great weekend!!

Treasure chest!

Now I have to show you one of the things I made at the Irene Tan class last weekend. This gorgeous Treasure travel chest with an acrylic mini album inside, wow, this was so much fun to make! This tiny chest is only measuring 3.5"/2.5" but we managed to fit in sooo many details.

We used a lot of inking, stamping, cutting, masking, embossing techniques. Our teacher and designer Irene is a master piece of art herself, her creativeness is amazing. We used papers from Graphic 45 and pictures from Darkroom Door.

This is the little acrylic mini book that is kept inside. If you do not know Irene, please visit her fabulous blog, Scrapperlicious, and you are in for a treat!

For this card I printed 2 images and colored with Copics. Cut two pieces with Spellbinders and made holes at the side for the ribbons. Then I just decorated the inside with a greating and a butterfly. Now here are the two adorable images by Nina that you can win if you enter the challenge.

Friday again! This weekend I will get to spend together with Irene Tan from Scrapperlicious, she will come to Kuala Lumpur and teach us lucky scrappers for two days! Yeah! But first I will show you my entry to Mo´s Digital Pencil challenge no 22! Not a square or rectangle, I did a circle, half on the outside and full circle when you open it. I made a little (to small!) pocket on the inside to put a little gift. I used a screw from Tim Holtz to hold it together! Now, you have a great weekend, I know I will have!

Very exciting here in Malaysia,"my" golf course is hosting Malaysian Open 2010, I was there yesterday but it was very hot so today I will watch it on TV! Anyway, managed to make a card. I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge no 93 and at Mo´s Digital challenge 21 they wanted us to use the color combo of Brown, Blue and one neutral (white). OK, have agreat Sunday and I am off to the TV sofa!
