Glögg!

And what is that, you wonder? Glögg is the typically warm Swedish drink for Christmas! The recipe stamp is one from a wonderful set from Kortmakarna, designed by a blog friend, Deleelsias värld.

The recipe is:
4 dl Black currant Juice
2 dl Apple Juice
4 dl Water
1 piece of Ginger
4 Cloves (whole)
1 tsp Cardamom seeds
1 piece of cinnamon stick
You mix and let it cook together, you can add Alcohol (Wine or stronger) to spice it up!

Anyway, I made this card for two challengers, at A Spoon Full of Sugar - Non traditional Christmas colors, I figured dark blue and pink are not! I used a sketch from Papertake Weekly.

I also have recevied two awards, again, WOW! One from Hege in Norway, Thanks my friend!
And the other one from my DT friend at TMITA, Selma, Thanks my friend!

And as usual I send these on to my readers, followers and blog friends, you are the best!!

My new stamp and 2 Challenges!

I got 2 mails this week, one from Whiff of Joys stamps and one from USA. In the box from USA I found (surprise?) Prisma Colors pencils, yippee! Now I just need to figure out where to buy blending stumps, have found the OMS, so with the help of a Tim Holtz product, don't no the name, I gave it a try. The image is a mix of Copics (of course) and Prismas. However it will take some practicing using pencils instead of Copics, but I am going to have a lot of fun ( and frustration!). The challenges for this card are WOJ - Christmas and a sketch from Create4Fun!

Recipe:
Stamp: WOJ Wee and reindeer
Colored with Copics and Prismas
Papers: Bazzill and Crate Paper
Wooden buttons: moof
Ribbon and bell from Nilla's Craft room
Sketch: Create4fun

BLOG HOP SOON TO COME
at TMITA with a lot of fun, prices, new images and YES finally, Nina's new store where we all can buy her wonderful stamps! Mark your calenders for 9-13 December! Click on the banner to find out more!!

Orson is back!!

Good morning all friends! Hope you like my Christmas layout! Today I will show you a card I made for my father who is turning 80 on the 26th of December! I asked Orson (Nina May's adorable monkey) to help me carry a Happy Birthday (Grattis) and a cake to him! Since my fathers birthday is around Christmas I made it in red and green with the help of sketch 77 from Sketch Saturday and at Stamping for the Weekend they wanted us to us BIG numbers, and I think 80 is BIG enough, lol! Happy Birthday Dad!!

As you can see I used Orson twice and this is how the original digi stamp looks like, with the cake! Plenty of room on the other side to tell my father all the best wishes!
